The idea for this website came about when towards the end of my treatment a dear friend and I began thinking about whether we could offer a complete resource that addressed both the concerns of a woman dealing with a diagnosis and a way for the people who care about her to show their compassion.There are so many amazing women with cancer for whom their roles as mothers, daughters, wives, co-workers and friends remain the top priority. Their stories of hope, optimism and the journey through treatment inspired us to create swallowtail. This website is dedicated to them.
