Swansea University Rowing Club Details

The Swansea University Rowing Club (SURC) is situated on the West bank of the River Tawe in Swansea. The club has almost exclusive access to a 3 km stretch of rowable water, including two long straights. It is unknown when the club was founded, but it was re-founded in 2004 by Tim Stickley and has continued to grow since. Rowing with SURC is open to all members of Sports Swansea - the organisation who provide a nominal level of funding and insurance for all university clubs.
