Sweed Details
Sweed is a sustainable seaweed plastic material used to replace traditional plastic films. It decomposes safely in the ocean and can be disposed of with food waste as home compostable. Seaweed is one of the most efficient organisms capturing CO2. In fact, if 9% of oceans were covered with Seaweed farms we could offset humans CO2 emissions. Seaweed farms use no freshwater, land, fertilizers and pesticides to produce the seaweed.
