After more than 35 years of experience in aids for handicapped and elderly people we know quite well what the expectation of good and qualitative ADL-equipment means. Thanks to our smallness we could in the beginning create a competitive company with faster and more personal service than our competitors. Today Swereco is a larger company, but we still have our fundamental ambitions and humility to our customers and the reality. To keep a good service and to offer highquality products and good prices have been two of Swerecos fundamental principles since the start in 1973. Our head quarter is located in Stockholm and we have our own factory and stock located in Lenhovda in the southern part of Sweden, where we manufacture about 80 % of all our products and employ about 25 persons. Remaining products are contract manufactured or imported. A strong economy has always been seen as a guarantee for the future. Under deep decline in business activity the meaning appears more clearly. We are not trying to hide that this is one of our competitive strength. Our credit rating has for many years been ranked AAA by an acknowledged finance company, which we are very proud of. For our customers this means security. It guarantees that Swereco will be in the market and give good service even in the future. Structure, quality and an environmental consciousness is also something we think is important at Swereco. That's why we today are certified and fulfils the requirements of the Quality Management System of SS-EN ISO 9001:2000 and the Environmental Management System of SS-EN ISO 14001:2004. Short time of delivery is something we give priority to. Today we consider us both to be a good manufacturer and to deliver a large assortment of products, quick and effective till a good price. Besides our standard assortment we also adapt our products for individual user needs. We export to 20 countries with the Nordic countries, Germany, USA and France at the top-level position.
