Swift Tram is developing the world's most energy efficient, cost effective and sustainable transportation mode. Our version of the hanging train leverages advanced materials, electronics and software to provide a comfortable and invigorating travel experience above the traffic below. The need to elevate transportation is driven by the congestion of buildings, cars and people. Swift utilizes the space above established transit corridors, reducing or eliminating right-of-way issues, and allowing low-cost automated operation. The future of connected mobility depends on fast, clean, safe and reliable regional transit that can be built and operated at substantial savings compared to conventional modes. Planning is currently underway with several public and private entities for installations beginning in 2016.Swift Tram's team currently consists of over a dozen experienced and motivated members who are focused on developing customer and strategic relationships, building a prototype drive bogie and securing equity partners.
