Our purpose is to improve swim equity in low-to-middle communities that have been historically under represented in aquatic industry opportunities due to learned cultural behavior fallacies and civil redlining practices resulting in disproportionally high accidental drowning rates. The Swim Up Hill Non-Profit gives donors the opportunity to enrich the lives of the youth in these communities with swim education that leverages common household items as tools for communicating essential and basic swim education, causing fewer accidental drownings and a greater collective community consciousness surrounding health, leisure, and professions as they pertain to aquatic spaces. We implement native multi-media educational resources (including self-help books, children's books, and digital audio/visual libraries) for parents/guardians as well as professional trainers/coaches to reach community members where they are mentally, emotionally, and physically. Our efforts are further popularized by professional swimmers and community leaders that act as ambassadors to relate our program's efficacy to these target communities through live training events and virtual platforms. The two prominent struggles identified have been generational traumas surrounding a fear of water, and lack of consistent access to wate
