Gmessys was founded in July 2010 by IIT B.Tech Grads returning back to India with a vision to develop indigenous timer/ sensor based automation technologies at affordable costs for mass adoption that enable higher efficiency in Indian daily life. Gmessys has representative offices in Mysore, Bangalore and Cologne (Germany). Technology Development Board, Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India has promoted Gmessys's vision to develop indigenous products that envisage higher energy efficiency by funding a SEED grant of 25 lakh rupees.
