Sydney Mindfulness Training offers mindfulness training to individuals and groups in both the private and corporate sector. A core programme is the 8-week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program in which participants are taught, encouraged and supported to be "fully present in the here and now, being in touch with what is going on inside us and around us". Mindfulness is easy to understand conceptually, but more challenging in practice. The course, underpinned by research and theory, is structured around experiential exercises.
