Symbiotic Health, Inc. is a NYC-based startup dedicated to the development of safe and effective microbiome therapeutics. Our pipeline includes an oral capsule therapeutic that cures C. difficile diarrhea by repopulating the patient with a protective microbiome. This therapeutic is comfortable for the patient, convenient for the provider, and can be dispensed in outpatient or long-term care settings. Our prototype has been used clinically by our chief medical officer to treat patients with recurrent and treatment-resistant C. difficile diarrhea. At Symbiotic Health, we believe that microbiome medicine will transform patient care by providing cost-effective solutions to critical public health challenges.
