Symsolar uses large datasets, sophisticated estimation models, and mapping tools, to identify and target, high potential customers for residential solar PV. These may be for either rooftop, or community-shared solar (CSS) applications. Symsolar's proprietary SymLocal™ solution not only locates potential clusters, but also estimates capacity of solar PV for a large number of residents at a time. This information is then used to prioritize and deploy targeted, customized outreach. The results are improved business volume for installers (rooftop solar) or developers (community-shared solar), and more loan origination for lenders. The model works particularly well with local community groups aiming to improve saliency of solar PV in their communities.
