At Synchesis, our mission is to increase active participation in social causes, be it through education, volunteering, fundraising, or advocacy. Composed of college students from universities across the country, we share educational resources and community spotlight interviews on our Instagram page, @synchesis. On our website, our blog covers a wide range of issues, from racial justice and women's rights to climate change and immigration.In the future –– and in addition to the expansion of our social media presence –– we will launch a platform where individuals can offer a particular skill/service in exchange for donations to their designated 501(c)(3) organization. The COVID-19 pandemic has jeopardized the crucial work carried out by small, local groups, and although not everyone can donate directly to the causes they care about, we know that everyone has a skill. Simply put, we believe that people care, and through our platform, everyone can be an activist.
