A proudly Independent Fostering AgencyWe've been caring for foster children for nearly 16 years, ever since the doors of our first foster centre opened on 1st May 2000. The centre was founded by our 3 directors, Shobha Harris, Gurmeet Sodhi, and John Barnes, who run the agency and manage the team today. Currently, we have 35 fantastic foster families, some of which have been fostering with us right from the very beginning! Our carers are based all over London and have branched out into Essex, Kent, and other home counties. Over the years we've had our fair share of recognition and achievements, receiving Ofsted ratings in providing outcomes for children ranging from Good to Outstanding. As an independent fostering agency, we are very proud of being awarded this rating, and our fostering home has only improved over the last 3 years! Today we are striving for nothing less than being Outstanding as a whole!We are always looking for new foster carers who can join us in our efforts to provide a safe and nurturing environment for vulnerable children. These children often don't have the opportunities or the right to a happy and healthy childhood and you could make that difference! Every week there are on average, 100 children that need a foster placement and never enough carers to look after them all. This needs to change so that these children get an equal chance in life.There are some really amazing stories about the journeys that some of our young people have taken to get where they are today. They may not have been able to achieve some of the things that they have achieved without the hard work and dedication that our carers have put in to support these children and give them a voice. Anyone can foster; as long as you are able to really understand where these children are coming from and find the patience to continue providing quality care to those children who really need it!
