Taarkashi started off as a small home based business in 2014 in Karachi, Pakistan that aimed to bring the hand embroidered clothes from different parts of the country and sell them online. Gradually the product line increased to articles like dresses, bags, home decor and this gave a huge encouragement to the team to get into customized clothing and accessories. We featured crafts and techniques that were dying out and brought them to the mainstream market. Block prints, chunri, kamdani, different kinds of embroideries and needle work ( ralli ) from Sindh, Punjab and KPK. The journey from 2014 to 2020 has been a roller coaster ride. Catering local and international clients, meeting the timelines and making dresses for families compelled us to take it a notch up and start our own pret line and accessories with our original designs. We are new but hoping to grow with your love and support.
