Taaza is a nationally-affiliated, inter-collegiate, non-profit sponsored Bollywood-Fusion and Garba-Raas dance competition held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Our goals are to bring innovation and something "fresh" to the circuit of dance competitions around the nation, becoming a competition of change and influence while uplifting South Asian culture through dance.This year, Taaza will be held on February 26th, 2022 in the beautiful August Wilson African American Cultural Center in Downtown Pittsburgh. We will be partnering with and fundraising for Maitri, an organization that helps families and individuals (primarily from South Asia) facing domestic violence, emotional abuse, cultural alienation, or family conflict. Our goal is not only to raise money for the organization but to also raise awareness in our community by partnering with local organizations.
