Tagasauris is a video search and discovery platform. We do for video what Google did for HTML for pages. We have a patent-pending application of human-assisted computing to machine learning that enabled data-driven search, discovery and curation based on the principles of hypermedia. We "teach" computers the content of a video and how that content relates to other videos on the web. This technology quickly and cost effectively turns unitary, full-length video content into shots and scenes that are searchable at web-scale. We've spent 5 years developing this core technology with corporate customers including Disney, AOL and ABC. Clients benefit from improved engagement, traffic and discoverability (e.g. Tagasauris increased website traffic for one client 5,000%+ after tagging 1.8M photos in one early use case). Company employs experts in the fields of linked data, dynamic semantic publishing, human-assisted computing and is championed by one of the original members of the Watson team at IBM.Tagasauris has been featured in The New York Times, Wired, Business Week, The Economist and a host of others. The National Endowment for the Humanities awarded Tagasauris and The Museum of the City of New York a grant to annotate the museum's archive. Tagasauris was founded in Dec 2010 with offices in New York City and Santa Monica, CA.
