As President and CEO, as well as the hardest-working and most tenured employee at this one-man shop, my work consists of providing strategic branding and positioning thinking, and then the compact bursts of language that express such branding and positioning. These bursts include taglines (slogans), catch phrases, themes, mission statements, vision statements, brand manifestos, positioning statements, credos and other such bursts of language. Much of my work focuses on these brief bursts, but I'm also called on to write advertisements in many media including TV, radio, print, outdoor and online, as well as long form copy for websites and collateral materials. The only media I don't work in are annual reports, newsletters and social media.My service is not cheap, but you get what you pay for in this business, and I'd just as soon not work with clients who don't understand this. Having done this work for 35 years, I am very quick up the learning curve and very efficient in my process, which, in combination with my thinking and writing talent, and maintaining a very lean staff of one, means you pay for nothing but brain time. My endorsements and, more meaningfully, my recommendations may provide some reassurance, but engaging me is still a leap of faith.
