TACL 's mission is to improve the quality of life of Taiwanese Americans in the United States.Its programs serve to benefit all ages, but have emphasized leadership and identity development programs for youth, encouraging involvement and development in areas that Asian Americans lack adequate representation. Signature programs include the Leadership Conference, Political Internship, Journalism Internship, Entertainment Internship, High School Scholarship, Leadership Identity Development (LID) and Leading Youth Forward (LYF) Camps, High School Network through Junior Taiwanese American Student Association (JTASA.org), and our young professional arm: Taiwanese American Professionals (TAP) which serves to develop community-oriented leaders: (http://tap.tacl.org).
