Taiwanese Canadian Association of Toronto (TCAT), the largest Taiwanese organization in the Toronto area, was established in the 1960's and registered in Ontario in 1975.The main objectives of TCAT are to promote the common interest and welfare of the members, to provide cultural and recreational activities for the Taiwanese community, and to better the inter-group relations within the context of Canadian multiculturalism. The activities and services offered by TCAT usually include community educational workshops, summer camps, sports, concerts, picnics, and parties on special occasions such as Lunar New year, Mother's Day Celebration, Mid-Autumn Festival etc.TCAT publishes a newsletter "TOGETHER" three times a year.
