TakeStock is an online, ethical food marketplace that aims to reduce food waste. We connect sellers with surplus product to buyers. Buyers have a wide range of exciting, low cost products from across the world at their finger tips. This allows them to grow and diversify their business. Sellers on the other hand are reducing waste and lost revenue whilst simultaneously growing their business. Here's how TakeStock works:• A seller lists an item, from fresh apples or chillies to paper bags or machinery. Anything involved in the food process. The seller lists a 'guide price' and minimum quantity.• The buyer will state what quantity they want and make an offer which will then be sent to the seller who will accept or decline the offer.We do not charge for membership or listing, we charge a small commission only on items when they have sold.
