Tamayouz Excellence Award Details
Tamayouz Excellence Award (established in 2012) is an independent initiative that aims to advance the profession of architecture both academically and professionally. It does so through its seven-category awards programme, its week-long annual workshop, as well as several public events that it holds throughout the year in different parts of the MENA region.In 2013, Tamayouz Excellence Award became the first ever award in the Middle East to have a dedicated award for women in architecture and construction. And in 2016, its awards went international and opened up to architects, academics and students all over the world.In the past few years, the Tamayouz family has grown exponentially, and receives more than 1,000 submissions across its seven categories each year, making it one of the largest awards programmes in the Middle East.
