The Tampa Bay Conservation Society is a community outreach program dedicated to educating the public about the ecosystems and organisms of Tampa Bay and around the world. TBCSOC offers educational programs where students will get to meet some animals from around Tampa Bay. Our animal experts will travel to your location and present to your students. The Tampa Bay Conservation Society offers a variety of educational programs to the Tampa Bay community. While many of these programs focus on animals and plants native to the Tampa Bay area, we also have a variety of exotic and invasive species that impact the environment. There are a few things that set an educational program from the Tampa Bay Conservation Society apart from the other educational programs offered through zoos, theme parks and museums. First, we specialize in education. This means that education isn't just one of the many things we do, it is the only thing we do. We are experts in environmental education with over 40 years of combined experience at zoos, schools, and other educational programs. 20150118-IMG_5434-XLAdditionally, we are much more affordable than other programs available. This is because we don't have the infrastructure to support. This means that the cost of operating onsite restaurants, staffing front gate team members, and a large administrative department will not be passed along to you. The cost of your programs directly go to support the programs themselves through staff and animal care. Lastly, we are able to customize our programs to fit your needs and that of your curriculum. We understand that you need outside programming efforts to support what's going on in your classrooms. That's why each of our programs are customizable.
