嘉庚创新实验室（福建能源材料科学与技术创新实验室）于2019年9月获得福建省委、省政府授牌成立，是福建首批四家省创新实验室之一，是厦门市政府与厦门大学共同举办的二类事业单位。实验室以国家顶级实验室为目标开展建设，以攻克"卡脖子"技术、落地产业化成果为己任，力争打造能源材料领域的国家战略科技力量。Tan Kah Kee Innovation Laboratory (Fujian Science & Technology Innovation Laboratory for Energy Materials of China, IKKEM) was established on September 10, 2019. It is one of the first four provincial innovation laboratories in Fujian, and co-sponsored by Xiamen city and Xiamen University with the long-term goal of becoming a national research laboratory. It is also the innovation platform with the largest investment and scale, the highest positioning, and the most flexible system in Fujian in recent years.
