Tanley Textiles LLC is a home textile products company established by two Chinese graduate students, Tianli Zhang and Joey Yin, in the Master of International Management program at Portland State University. The idea was born from a marketing plan assignment in which Tianli Zhang envisioned a textile company outside the norm of traditional style and luxury bedding products. After conversing with friend, and eventually co-founder, Joey Yin, they decided to officially establish the business in December of 2012.Tanley Textiles' mission is to ensure a more convenient and vibrant lifestyle for young adults by bringing innovative solutions to home furnishings. In order to accomplish this, Tanley Textiles' founders create storage and design solutions for home textiles based off of observations from their own lives, as well as from primary research of our target markets. All products and marketing materials are sourced from China and imported into the US. We currently sell our products through our own online ecommerce site and distribute our products to customers either by hand delivery or thorugh USPS. Our products capitalize on the need for convenience in an aesthetically pleasing manner. The Pocket 1.0, our first product, will also solve the needs for bedding and storage within one unit. This product is optimized for those with limited bedroom space who need to store nighttime items (glasses, cell phones, books, etc), but do not have a current solution to do so.
