Malaysia's most progressive crafts production and supply entity. Focused on applying purist heritage craft techniques towards contemporary designs and applications. The social impact organisation started its operations in 2012 by assuming 11 songket weavers under the Kuching-based weaving workshop under the Yayasan Tuanku Nur Zahirah. In 2019, Tanoti flows income to 280 craft artisans across 22 village communities throughout Sarawak.Tanoti's work focuses on craft skills handed down from generations and the practise of these skills in the most purist ways. With its design team, Tanoti intends contemporises the designs and applications of such crafts for today's audience.Winner of 2014 and 2016 World Crafts Council Awards of Excellence in Handicraft. Winner of ASEAN Silk Textile Contest 2019, Discontinuous Supplementary Weft Technique. Accredited SE.A status by Ministry of Entrepreneur Development, Malaysia for its social impact. Recipient of the MaGIC Amplify Award 2015.
