Our platform aims to introduce younger generations to a new form of fundraising. Today, there is a huge gap between those willing and able to donate to charities and those who in actuality contribute. This is in part because many millennials are unengaged with current forms of fundraising, whether it be in terms of money or time. Our mission is to make a contributor out of these members of society by leveraging the younger generations' most distinct qualities: a need for fun, experience and social connectivity.Friends nominate friends to do funny, unexpected and phenomenal challenges for money. Nominators set the price target and If the user accepts, friends chip in to help reach that goal and see the challenge completed. Fifty percent of the money earned in each challenge is pocket by the nominee and the other fifty percent automatically goes to charity. Unlike current crowdfunding platforms, we combine this generation's craving for social connection and entertainment with charity in order to do the most good with every transaction.
