We are a young couple researching in cacao; its varieties and utilities, so that we can share, not only high quality and fine chocolates, but also a prodcut that is commited with the preservation of our enviroment. All of our chocolates are hand crafted, healthy, made with organic raw materials, free of additives and preservants, vegan, gluten free and also free of child work or any kind of work explotation. So its a complete clean product made with the highest quality of cacao and ingredients from Costa Rica. We only use local ingredients and some of them even endemic, so that we can value our costa rican gastronomy and remark our latin roots. All of our chocolates are only made with cacao from different places from Costa Rica. We only use dark chocolate, in most of the cases 75% cacao concentration or even one bar of 100% cacao.We also love Tapirs….By consuming our products you are collaborating with specific research and conservation efforts to preserve the Tapirs in Costa Rica. The centralamerican Tapir is an endangered of extinction specie.A porcentaje of our sales goes directly to Nai Conservation, a multidisciplinary organization focus on the conservation of the Tapir. We have developed a strong alliance with this organization and together with them we make volunteer work activities plus enviromental educational programs, social and art this foundation plus enviromental education, social and art activities with the objective of involving our consumers and public in general about the importance of conservating this unique animal. The Tapirs are known to be "gardeners of the forest" because they have one the highest seed dispertion porcentage. So they shape our tropical forest and play a key role preserving very important ecosystems not only for Costa Rica but also for the whole world.
