Tasimages started in 2010 as a result of needing a host site for event photographers in Tasmania for national events. Predominantly sporting events such as Mountainbike racing and then multi sport disciplines such as the Winter and Summer Challenges. Freycinet challenge has also been a part of the event's covered and published on this site. Originally the the images that appeared here were from tonyjross.com which started back in 2005 as there was a need to publish images from Mountain bike events run throughout the year accross Tasmania. As other photographers needed a site to publish and share their images Tasimages was born and the images on tonyjross.com were transitioned to Tasimages.
