Sèmè City and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA Benin) have gathered 100 innovation members within an Innovation Task Force intended to bolster the fight against COVID-19 and its economic impact. This initiative complements the actions taken by the Government of Benin. It aims to find local and innovative solutions, adapted to the socio-economic and cultural environments of Benin and West Africa. Its purpose is also to increase the economic resilience of entrepreneurs and key players of Benin's innovation ecosystem, whose roles will be crucial for the management of the crisis and its aftermaths.
