Taskshade is a University of Oregon spin-off company created by professors and students within Architecture and Product Design. Our mission is to cultivate healthier workspaces. We believe that design, guided by research, holds the power to link natural and built environments so that both people and the planet thrive. Two decades of daylighting research and design consulting provided the foundation for our first product, The Taskshade. The Taskshade emphasizes the value of access to daylight and views in our workspaces by providing users with an individualized solution to control glare from sunlight.
