Long Jr., a former executive chef and contract foodservice manager. Long's 21 year experience in retail food marketing, sales and his expertise in; culinary arts, dietary management, foodservice sanitation, and writing foodservice recipes and manuals, inspired him to launch the business concept for the TASTE OF SOUTH JERSEY.Over two decades ago, Long first published the Web site, TASTE OF SOUTH JERSEY! Next came the periodical by the same moniker in January 2000.Inspired by the warm reception to his original concept, intellectual property and copyright of TASTE OF SOUTH JERSEY, he next launched TASTE MAGAZINE and eventually, launched HOME & TOWNE®, a luxury life magazine inspired by Long's creativity. Long then conceptualized and launched B2B FOOD NEWS®, a business-to-business monthly trade publication. The gourmet food, B2B FOOD NEWS® and BIZ TRADE NEWS™ newspapers, restaurant, dining and lifestyle publications (both newsprint and full color, glossy magazines—and several other self-published books and geopolitical publications) formed a literal collection of Long's intellectual property, insight and vision.Long's mission has always been to inspire people to support independent restaurants, gourmet shops and lifestyle businesses.
