Tatar State Humanities Teacher's Training University is one of the oldest educational institutions of the Russian Federation - was founded October 24, 1876 as the Teachers' Institute - the third in Russia after the St. Petersburg and Moscow. The University is a higher education institution, which has 130 year history. \\In 1978 the University was named the best educational institution of the Soviet Union.\\In spring 2005 the Univeristy participated in the All-Russian competition of higher education institutions, held in St. Petersburg, where he received a gold medal 'European Quality' in the category of '100 best universities of Russia, Laureate in the category 'Project of the Year. '\\The main task of the collective pedagogical institutes is to train highly qualified, erudite and ideological-aged teachers. Realizing these problems, administration is carried out renovation and improvement of curriculum and programs, contents, forms and methods of educational process.
