The Changer is an online platform that presents jobs, funding opportunities, news, and events for the social sector. The Changer has identified a lack of transparency and the fragmentation of information within the social sector as central barriers to social change. Information and resources are difficult to identify and work is often duplicated, because there is limited space for collaboration and shared learning. The Changer seeks to reduce these barriers for NGOs, social businesses and practitioners by increasing their access to funding, talented staff and knowledge from other organizations doing similar work. By utilizing the latest digital trends, and through the development of a new software that crawls the web for the latest information in the sector, our goal is to help NGOs and social businesses significantly improve their efficiency and sustainability. Essentially The Changer aims to strengthen the infrastructure of the social sector in order to maximize social impact.
