TD Kitchener Blues Festival KBCI is a not-for profit corporation in Ontario responsible for the production of this annual event. As you are aware the Kitchener Blues Festival is THE signature arts/music festival within the Waterloo Region and the largest event of the summer. We have grown the festival over its 13 year history from a Saturday afternoon event in 2001 with an attendance of 3,000 to an internationally recognized festival with programming over a 4 day time span that last year attracted an audience of well over 120,000 visits. With the exception of a Thursday evening ticketed fundraising concert and our new Sunday Closing concert, all festival weekend programming is non-ticketed. The festival is powered by over 380 community volunteers during the weekend.
