Te Rito Foundation Ltd became a company in 2018. Previously, it began as a community parent support group for parents and caregiver whanau who had interventions of their children that held issues of unfair, bias and prejudicial treatment by a largely marginal, discriminated and dis-advantaged group of parents in their CYFS matters.Te Rito: Restoration of Whanau Forum, as it was formerly, aimed then to create and provide a safe space for these parents that held their interests at the heart of the business in the interests of their children first - healthy parents, safe parents and parents able to have them returned to their care more readily than permanent placements where not necessary.Te Rito Foundation remains committed to providing that kaupapa to families including research,& educational development opportunities to enable and support sustainable behavioural and circumstantial changes of benefit to its parents in the best interests of the children being reunited with their parents.TE RITO FOUNDATION is the Whanau Foundation for families of Oranga Tamariki supporting personal development and family needs for the future.These objectives, combined with legal advisory research on behalf of its families, collaboration with Oranga Tamariki and its own development projects for whanau, Te Rito Foundation's mission is to empower those parents who are deserving of a chance to attain their tamariki back from intervention.Through our programs, development strategies and empowerment experiences to offer these parents, it is the aspirational determination to prove that there is every "realisitic possibility of return" for those parents who want for their children to be returned.Investment in the parents;Is a return for the future;Investment in the future isCaring and investing for ourTamariki now.Nga manaakitanga,
