Te Whare Tiaki Wāhine Refuge is a non-profit organisation, which works with wāhine and tamariki who are experiencing psychological, physical, financial and/or sexual violence, in the greater Porirua regions.We provide a range of services:* Emergency and temporary accommodation for wāhine in crisis* 24 hour 7 day per week crisis line* Community Support and Advocacy* Support to access Counselling, Legal advise,Police, WINZ, OT and OthersTe Whare Tiaki are also involved in raising awareness and training on Family Violence and are active members of the community, supporting Family Violence Prevention Initiatives.
