In 2010, born out of a desire to create a healthy soda alternative, Lisa Bledsoe began brewing kombucha in her kitchen. As she shared her creations with friends and family, word of mouth began to spread, and Lisa's hobby started to become much more.With order requests increasing each week, Lisa began to run out of counter space and Saturday afternoon customer pickups often led to lines out her front door. To keep up with demand, Lisa began to sell at the local Farmer's Market where she was approached by a local retailer wanting to put her products on their store shelves. With that, in 2015, Lisa went into the bottling business, opening a 2,000 sq ft manufacturing facility and taproom. As distribution increased beyond the local Kansas City market, Lisa was approached by a large regional grocery chain wanting to place Tea-Biotics Kombucha in their warehouse. Running at capacity in her current facility, Lisa raised capital and in 2018, moved into a brand new 14,000 sq ft manufacturing facility and taproom where we continue to grow today.Currently, Tea-Biotics Kombucha is sold in over 600 retail locations in 13 states and home to the World's Largest Kombucha Taproom with 56 flavors on tap!Tea-Biotics Kombucha is WBENC Certified Women-Owned, USDA Organic, Non-GMO, Gluten Free, Vegan, BPA Free and Dairy Free.
