Born from the desire to provide publishing services to authors who have had little success with traditional publishing and who lack the resources and/or knowledge to self-publish on their own, Tea Tree Publishing was formed in January 2015 by Dr. Donna White and Ms. Amanda Johnson from a mutual desire to aid authors of children's and young adult literature in publishing books of high quality in the Arkansas River Valley and surrounding areas.Tea Tree utilizes print-on-demand services provided by Lightning Source to produce quality copies of authors' works in a variety of formats without the need for large volume purchases and in order to provide authors with the furthest reach and highest profits possible.Tea Tree got its name after many failed attempts at creating something original that was rooted in a love of children's literature, as many, many others share our passion for such books. Rather than fret over our disturbing lack of talent at naming things other than cats, we opted to broaden our possibilities to include our other great loves and ultimately settled on Tea Tree Publishing, which combined our desire to incorporate trees with our immense fondness for a hot cup of tea and a good book. We like to think our logo reflects these interests and with an added touch of whimsy.
