Teach First Israel is a social-educational leadership program promoting equal opportunities in education. We believe that every child in Israel has the right to choose their own future, wherever they live and whatever their socioeconomic background. TFI trains and develops a high-quality community of teachers and educators with the vision and leadership skills to lead change in Israel's social and geographic periphery.TFI, founded in Israel in 2009, is a member of the global Teach For All network. It operates in around 250 schools throughout the country, and there are now more than 1000 active TFI teachers.
