Teachpedia, Inc. is a dynamic educational consulting company dedicated to inspiring educators across Canada. Our mission is to provide a platform for teachers to come together, network and learn from each other. By providing educators with cutting-edge research and industry best practices, we aim to improve various facets of education through pedagogy and practice. Also, we assist new and existing childcare facilities with the maintenance of compliance, curriculum, and educational requirements. We aim to serve educators who are passionate about bettering their practices and sustaining a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment for all children. Teachpedia specializes in professional development provided through pedagogical inquiry sessions and hands-on workshops, along with specialized education including early childhood, social justice, and play-based learning. Afshan Ali founded Teachpedia in 2016. After serving 15 years as an educator, Ali witnessed the disconnect between educators and teachers that occurred during enrichment programs. She took her expertise and passion for early childhood learning and poured it into productive workshops, startup consulting, and compliance training for educational providers across Canada.
