Team AUV MPSTME is a multidisciplinary student-faculty group meant to facilitate the research, development and prototyping of Underwater Robotics as well as to participate in SAUVC 2019 and ROBOSUB 2019. With integration of a robust Acoustic Localization System and improved control system, we are developing an AUV named SINKNOT which is capable of performing the tasks and addressing the challenges defined by the competitions which include, but are not limited to; Trajectory Planning, Navigation and Object Deployment and Reacquisition tasks. The AUV will be powered by a custom modular subsystem of Controllers, Processors, Sensor Arrays and Fail-safes.
