Mission Statement:To develop community ambassadors in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area, who are tasked with making a contribution to society through educational, social, spiritual, and athletic development. Goal:To produce not only great athletes but great students, community leaders and role models of the future.Team Finesse is a newly formed AAU organization in Upper Marlboro, MD, which focuses on the development and exposure of young men who aspire to play basketball at its highest levels.We will strive to be a competitive team, which develops player attitudes, improve fundamental skills, and teaches players the importance of the TEAM concept. Most importantly, we want all of our players to enjoy the game. It is our belief that the skills learned and the experiences gained with Team Finesse Elite will help our players not only in the game of basketball but in whatever they aspire to achieve in life. Team Finesse was founded by a father and sons collaboration. Howard Hill Sr., Basketball Guru, who has coached and competed in the DC Metro Area for over 30 years. Mr. Hill has produced talents such as Monte Williams (Norte Dame), Mike Pegues (University of Delaware) and Victor Page (Georgetown). His coaching style and winning attitude have transferred to his sons who are the leaders of Team Finesse. Oumar Hill, President, has been involved in basketball since he was a baby. He currently trains athletes of all skill levels. Oumar has over ten years of coaching and mentoring experience at all levels of basketball and will bring his knowledge to the AAU circuit for immediate success. The owners have trained, mentored, and coached 34 NBA Players, placed 89% of former players in college, including over 80 Division I and II players.
