The Transgender Education and Advocacy Movement (TEAM Law) is a 501(c)3 that researches the intersections of transgender individuals and the law in an effort to find the best legal, as well as non-legal, remedies and arguments. Our goal is to help the legal community protect the civil rights of transgender individuals by employing those practices and arguments that best serve the interests of the transgender community. TEAM Law is not a law firm, but rather, a research and educational organization. Co-founders Liz Dana (Chief Operating Officer) and Cody Hickman (Executive Director) are law school graduates who met while taking the Colorado Bar exam, and discovered a shared passion for transgender civil rights, as well as legal research.
