TEAM MOKE was an idea thought up back in early 2007. The term "moke" meaning beach bum in most coastal cultures, was an easily adapted term for 3 young teens in San Diego, California. The early approach was to just make shirts for friends to wear around town and on the many adventures the boys would go on. In time our love for activities and the outdoors would grow. We needed a product that could go with us and weather every trip we went on. Over time we would come to the product we have today. A shirt that could be worn to the beach, on a hike, to the gym. Soft enough to lounge in, breathable enough to get sweaty in, easy enough to go out in. Now, a shirt is not just something for you to enjoy but for others as well, with over 13 years of experience in working and volunteering with after school and youth programs, we proudly give away a shirt to a youth in need for every shirt sold.It's not just about us but about the people all around us.
