Team Phoenix is an Aero-Design and Aero-Modelling team of NIT Jamshedpur. Through it's wondrous performance and overwhelming efforts the team has brought laurels to the institute. Team Phoenix aims at promoting awareness regarding the aviation sector and develop real time solutions to ongoing issues in this field. The team members employ hardcore Engineering instincts to study various effecting performance parameters and generate a practical layout which can be executed effectively. We are a group of fully committed individuals who share and carry out responsibilities along with the sheer pleasure of our engineering course.The team is a perfect blend of talent, experience, creativity and innovation.Past Achievements:1. Only Indian Team to qualify the final round in 2011/2012 Design/Build/Fly competition organized by American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics(AIAA) held at Wichita, KS,USA.2. Secured 18th rank in the regular class of SAE Aerodesign West 2013 held at California, USA.3. Achieved 2nd rank in Aero 360 held at Chennai, India.4. Secured 7th rank in the Micro class of SAE Aerodesign East 2014 held at Georgia, USA5.Secured 13th rank in the Micro class of SAE Aerodesign East 2015 held at Florida, USA6. Secured 14th rank globally and 1st among all indian teams in regular class of SAE Aerodesign East 2016 held at Texas, USA7. Secured 15th rank globally & 3rd in ASIA-PACIFIC in regular class of SAE Aerodesign West 2017 held at Texas, USA8.
