Team SURTES (Surrey University Racing Technology & Engineering Solutions) is a student-run racing team from the University of Surrey. Established in 2006 using an ICE powertrain and switched to EV in 2016, the team is now focusing on developing the future of racing. Comprising of members from all years of their degrees, Team SURTES provides the base to develop key personal attributes and industry-related skills, used in developing, manufacturing and racing of F1 styled car.The 2020/2021 year brings new challenges to the team as we look to build on our recent successes; 2019 best UK EV car placed 11th and 2020 Overall Virtual Dynamic Events winner.
