TEAM TEN 4 KIDS was assembled in January 2017. Four tenured members of an Advisory Board spent years on various non-profit boards, supporting several organizations and running many successful charity events. The team came to realize the passion they have for philanthropy on their own terms and decided to organize independently. This team has a thing about making immediate impact and is against writing empty checks. You know the ones you write because they sent you 'address stickers' in the mail. Or the ones that spend millions on advertising on TV. Are they spending the money you sent them, just to market to you? How much actually goes to the cause you are supporting?With our efforts of fund raising and friend raising we are focused on having nearly 100% of the funds going to the cause. By creating an independent board, TEAM TEN 4 KIDS has the freedom to carefully vet and choose which organizations we would like to FOCUS on. We aim to develop meaningful relationships that result in immediate and direct impact.Within days of our first meeting, 10 like-minded, philanthropic individuals joined the cause and the name 'TEAM TEN 4 KIDS' was born. Lord knows there is plenty of need in our community, and we have a lot of work to do. This is strictly an organization of volunteers, who take zero pay. All we ask for is passion, commitment and follow through. Do you do, what you say you are going to do? Are you passionate and dependable? New volunteers are welcome to inquire and apply. The best way to get involved is to come to an event or one of our open board meetings. Membership comes with requirements, but volunteers of any service level are welcome.
