Our team consists ladies deduced to found a startup not an ordinary one .This start up wants to have a social impact. Therefore they are purchasing saffron from a region in Afghanistan where unemployment is high and women rights are not existing. By marketing their saffron they help to generate income for these women, we sources saffron from local Afghan farms and employs more than 1000 women in Herat, Afghanistan to hand-harvest the delicate crimson stigmas of the flowers through taxes kindergartens and schools can be built, children and women receive education which leads to a greater degree of empowerment and freedom. We have developed strong Afghan networks and on-the-ground understanding of how business is conducted. With our prior networks and in-country expertise, we have built the critical relationships, partnerships, and organizational infrastructure necessary to operate within and out of Afghanistan. Our competitive advantage is our ability to navigate the Afghan business landscape, which is built on trusted relationships.
