Tech Nation is a weekly public radio program, hosted by Dr. Moira Gunn. Founded in 1993, it has grown from a simple interview show to a multi-faceted production, featuring conversations with noted technology and science leaders, and a weekly science and technology-related commentary.In 2004, the growing public interest in DNA and the impact of biotechnology on medicine, agriculture and energy led to the creation of the regular segment, BioTech Nation. This includes its regular feature: BioIssue of the Week with award-winning science journalist, David Ewing Duncan, where they together discuss breaking items.And in 2017, listener interest prompted the creation of a new segment, Tech Nation Health, "reimagining the future of health and healthcare with the emergence of new technologies and breakthrough science." Chief Correspondent, Dr. Daniel Kraft, is a Stanford pediatric oncologist and founder of Exponential Medicine.In the U.S., Tech Nation, and its regular segments Tech Nation Health and BioTech Nation, can be heard multiple times each week on the NPR Channel 122 of SiriusXM, each weekend on National Public Radio Program Stream, on nearly 200 public radio stations nationwide, and globally, to 177 countries via Armed Forces Radio International.
