Technical Artistry provides technical consultation and design to large and small arts organizations, theaters, museums, performers and visual artists. Our specialty is providing elegant solutions that fulfill unique or difficult technical requirements. We do not ascribe to the standard operating philosophy that the best solution to a problem comes at the highest cost. We are budget sensitive. We are savvy about alternative materials and techniques. And we know the available resources. We advocate the use of recycled and energy efficient products and consider daily use specifications and long term maintenance part of our design considerations. We run the gamut of design possibilities; from achieving historical accuracy to working in cutting edge technologies and materials. Rather than strive for a particular "style" that would identify Technical Artistry, we seek the unique qualities in each assignment from which an aesthetic is determined. Technical Artistry was started in 1989 by Kyle Chepulis and was a sole proprietorship until 1997 when it incorporated in the State of New York.
