A dozen of interrelated factors are involved in achieving Innovation development and technology growth. Technological and scientific efforts can be fruitful only if they are accompanied with dynamic markets, fine institutional chances, systematic cooperation, coordination and effective policies provided by the government. Technology Studies Institute seeks to identify the most important issues and challenges regarding development of technology. Following this line, the institute makes attempts to find proper answers to questions posed in the area through performing and supporting world class interdisciplinary research. This will consequently culminate in establishing a community of specialists and researchers. To this end, the institute aims to create a high level of coordination among the related group members.The Institute was approved by the Council of Higher Education and later was moved to Presidential Office by the approval of Supreme Administrative Council in 2012. We hope this institute will turn into a center for scientific and executive elites, promoting the position of science and technology as expected and planned.
